The Applied Economics Clinic hosted our first energy analysis fellowship program May 13 - May 17, 2019. Fellows were selected to participate in a 1 week training program in economic and environmental analysis and modeling of the energy sector, which took place on the Tufts University campus in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Training topics for the Spring 2019 fellowship included:
Electric sector dispatch and markets
Dispatch and capacity expansion modeling inputs and outputs
Electric and natural gas peak demand and annual forecasting
Practical training on the Encompass model
Energy sector emissions accounting and consumer equity analysis
