Alicia Zhang, PhD

Research Fellow (She/Her)

Dr. Alicia Zhang is a Research Fellow at the Applied Economics Clinic and a Research Assistant at Boston University’s Institute for Global Sustainability. She is interested in how sustainable and responsible measures in the policy sphere can help achieve improvements in climate change mitigation and environmental justice, as well as help accelerate the ‘green’ energy transition. Prior to BU, Dr. Zhang worked at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center and for the National Park Service. Dr. Zhang holds a PhD in Earth and Environment from Boston University and a B.A. in International Affairs and Psychology, minoring in Economics, from Washington University in St. Louis.
