Katherine Lee Goyette is a Staff Attorney assisting with the coordination of the Clean Energy and Climate Change Program’s efforts to ensure the timely, effective and equitable implementation of climate laws in five of the six New England states. Prior to CLF, she served as Counsel at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU). Her work at the DPU centered around municipal aggregations, vegetation management, and storm cost recovery. Katherine has worked in private practice (criminal defense, family law and general civil litigation) and was also a district attorney with a domestic violence caseload.
Katherine holds an LL.M. in Elder Law from the University of Kansas School of Law and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law (KS). She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Kansas and D.C.
Katherine lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two children and is based in CLF’s Boston office.
