Director of Wholesale Market Development, Borrego Solar
Liz Delaney recently joined Borrego Solar as Director of Wholesale Market Development, overseeing policy and market participation for solar and storage assets in the northeast wholesale electricity markets (ISO-NE and NYISO). Prior to joining Borrego, Ms.Delaney represented Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) at NEPOOL, where she advocated for policies that enhanced energy market price formation, incentivized flexible grid services, and improved utilization of gas and electric infrastructure to maintain reliability and minimize costs.
Ms.Delaney has served as NEPOOL’s 2019 End User Sector Vice-Chair, and she has also worked for Harvard University, Earthwatch Institute, and the Eastern Research Group on a variety of initiatives that advanced climate science, economic policy, and corporate sustainability.
Ms.Delaney received her undergraduate degree from Boston College, her masters from George Washington University, and holds a certificate in energy innovation from Stanford University.
