Sarah Jackson

Northeast Regional Climate and Energy Policy Manager, The Nature Conservancy

Sarah Jackson is the Northeast Regional Climate and Energy Policy Manager at The Nature Conservancy. Prior to joining The Nature Conservancy, Ms. Jackson worked at Synapse Energy Economics as a Senior Associate, analyzing economic and environmental implications of energy and environmental policies. She has significant expertise on U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Power Plan and other Clean Air Act requirements, and has provided expert testimony in regulatory proceedings. Ms. Jackson has also investigated electricity market price trends and fluctuations. Prior to working at Synapse, Ms. Jackson served on the Central Valley Air Quality Coalition, and worked as a Research and Policy Analyst at Earthjustice.

Ms. Jackson holds a B.A in English and Environmental Studies from Mount Holyoke College, as well as a Masters of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School. After graduating from Vermont Law School, Ms. Jackson worked as a Land Use Paralegal at Kopelman and Paige, P.C in Boston.
